If you are wondering about IBPS Clerk salary, then you should know that after you are selected as an IBPS Clerk, you will be getting a decent salary in the initial period of your service. The basic pay will be Rs. 11, 765 – 31, 540/-. After serving for 1 year you will be subjected to an increment of Rs. 400/- to Rs. 500. On top of it, Dearness Allowances are also released by the banks on quarterly term based on Consumer Price Index. Similarly, House Rent Allowance will be allotted to you according to the place of posting, ranging from Rs. 1176.5/- to  Rs. 1058.85/-. Last but not the least, an IBPS Clerk also gets transport allowance which is approximately Rs. 425/-.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

The educational qualifications, age limit, and nationality of the candidates are considered in the eligibility criteria of IBPSClerk Recruitment 2018 for the post of Junior Associates. Educational Qualification: (AS ON 01.01.2018) 

Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government. Those who are in the Final year/ Semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 31.08.2018.

Age Limit (As on 01.04.2018)

The candidate’s age should not be below 20 and not more than 28 years as on 01. 04. 2018 which means he/she must not be born before 01.04.1997 and not after 02.04.1988 . Check out the age relaxation for various categories in the table below.

Changes in IBPS Clerk 2018

Following Major changes have been observed in the Exam Pattern of IBPS Clerk 2018 Exam.

  • The total duration and the number of questions asked in Mains Examination of IBPS Clerk 2018 Exam have been revised.
  • In the latest update by IBPS, IBPS Clerk Mains Exam will now constitute of 190 questions that needs to be completed in a time frame of 160 minutes.
  • Previously, Computer Aptitude and Reasoning Ability Section used to be conducted separately. But, in the recent update by IBPS, both these sections are amalgamated together and will constitute of 50 questions that needs to be solved in a time duration of 45 minutes.
  • Both Preliminary Exam and Mains Exam will be conducted bilingually, i.e. both in English and in Hindi. Let’s have a look at the Exam Pattern for IBPS Clerk CWE VII.

Phase II – Mains Exam

There will be penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score. If a question is left blank, i.e. if no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.

Cut-off Score (Online Main examination):

Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test of Online Main Examination and also a minimum total score to be considered for further process. Depending on number of the State/ UT wise vacancies available, cut-offs will be decided and candidates will be considered for provisional allotment.

MARKS OBTAINED IN THE MAIN EXAMINATION ONLY WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR FINAL MERIT LISTING.

PROVISIONAL ALLOTMENT

The total marks allotted for Main Examination are 200. Marks will be converted out of 100 for Provisional allotment. A candidate should qualify in the CWE online Main examination and be sufficiently high in the merit to be considered for subsequent provisional allotment process, details of which will be made available subsequently on IBPS website. On completion of the Main Examination, depending on the state/UT wise vacancies to be filled in during the financial year 2018-19 based on the business needs of the Participating Organisations and as reported to IBPS, candidates shortlisted will be provisionally allotted to one of the Participating Organisations, based on merit-cumpreference keeping in view the spirit of Govt. Guidelines on reservation policy, various guidelines issued by Govt.

How to apply for IBPS Clerk 2018

  • Candidates are first required to go to the IBPS’s website www.ibps.in and click on the Home Page to open the link ““CWE Clerks”” and then click on the option ““CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE FOR CWE- Clerks (CWE-Clerks-VII)” to open the On-Line Application Form
  • Candidates should have valid email ID and mobile no.which should be kept active till the declaration of results. It will help him/her in getting call letter/advices etc. by email/SMS.
  • Submit the Application Form.
  • The payment can be made by using debit card/credit card/Internet Banking by providing information as asked on the screen. Transaction charges for online payment, if any, will be borne by the candidates.
  • On successful completion of the transaction, e-receipt and application form with fee details will be generated; which may be printed for record.
  • Take out the Print Out of the Application Form for future reference.

Admit Card for For IBPS Clerk 2018

IBPS Clerk preliminary examination is scheduled to be held tentatively in the month of December 2018.According to the notification examination call letter can be downloaded tentatively from November, 2018.The IBPS Clerk mains exam will be tentatively held on 20th January 2018.

The Centre, venue address, date and time for both Preliminary and Main examinations and interview shall be intimated in the respective Call Letter. An eligible candidate should download his/her call letter from the authorised IBPS website www.ibps.in by entering his/ her details i.e. Registration Number and Password/Date of Birth. No hard copy of the call letter/ Information Handout etc. will be sent by post/ courier.

How to Download Admit Card

  • Go to http://www.ibps.in/ and click on careers section.
  • Select download IBPS Clerk call letter for preliminary examination
  • Then enter your Registration Number/Roll Number and Date of Birth/Password
  • Finally click on the submit button, your IBPS Clerk admit card 2018 will generated and take a print.
  • The IBPS Clerk admit card is issued and available 10 days prior to the examination. It will be available in the official website of the bank. Candidates are required to download the admit card and get a printed copy of the same.

IBPS CLERK MAINS 2017 PREVIOUS YEAR CUT OFF

This exam will be conducted in the month of December 2018. IBPSofficially releases separate sectional and overall Cut off marks for each phase of Clerk selection process. Candidates need to score marks equal to or greater than those cut off marks in each phase to get selected for the subsequent stages of the IBPS Clerk recruitment process. IBPS releases Cut off marks along with the IBPS Clerk Result  of each stage of Clerk selection process viz, prelims, Mains, Interview.
